It took Lamborghini only 15 months after launch to produce the 1,000th example of its Aventador LP700-4 - faster than any other V12-powered model in the company's history.
For example, the Aventador's predecessor, the Murciélago, reached the same milestone two years and five months after it launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2001, while previous models took even more.
